The Vintage Lace website is the brain child of both myself and my now husband. At the time of our wedding, I surfed the internet looking for an opportunity to buy a beautiful second hand wedding dress – perhaps something different that was not available at a local wedding dress supplier or a once off couture dress. But unfortunately I found nothing…

My journey then lead me to trying on over 30 wedding dresses at some local suppliers and purchasing a beautiful new gown. Now stuck with a once worn wedding dress in my wardrobe, the idea for Vintage Lace came to life.

After talking to a number of friends, colleagues and family members I soon realised that there were many others who too had dresses hanging in their wardrobes and were looking for a platform in which to sell it.

And thus the start of Vintage Lace in April 2011. Digital Dynamite created this beautiful website for us with a simple uploading tool and within a few months, we had over 50 dresses uploaded on the site.

One of our first customers had an enquiry only 3 days after uploading her dress and sold it to the first satisfied new dress owner.

And now with over 200 dresses on our site, we hope you will enjoy the experience as much as we have loved creating it for you.

“Thank you so much Vintage Lace for helping me sell my dress. The process was so effortless! I just uploaded my dress and the details and the contacts started pouring in. I am so happy that my dress has gone onto a loving home with a girl who will treasure it as much as I did on her special day!”
